Nov 2016 in Ocean Falls, culprits were young. Apparently the mom helped with the kill and beheading.

We have coyotes now on Thormanby, maybe 5 or so years. Deer population seems well down, hope they go for seals next. But those blubber butts usually favour an isolated rock for haulout , my hopes are probably in vain.
