This is just hearsay, but someone told me Bruno has stopped making Bauer Traps. Please tell me it isn't so. I am not a fan of most of the knock offs so this would suck.

Hi everyone, Bruno Bauer here.
Yes it is true that I'm slowly getting out of building my Prawn Traps, but it does not mean that they will not be available any more.
I would like to thank all of you for the support that you have given me over the years. I have always made a great effort to produce the highest quality
Traps that I could build for you.
I am negotiating with Heiko Wolff, to see if he wants to take over trap building. I should know in a week or so if he wants to take it over.
I do not want to just have anyone take over, because I do not want the quality of workmanship or materials to be diminished.
I'll be working together with him for a while until he gets up to speed, and to make sure he does a first rate job.
After all, he is my cousin and a good tradesman.
Again, Thank You for all your support.
I'll post again once he is all set up.

Hopefully these great traps will still be made - they work the best IMO.

Had a talk with Heiko last night and he is willing to take it on. It's going to take a while to get him up to speed, but I will be there to help him
get going. Next weekend we will get the shop all set up for production. I will keep a sharp eye on him, they will still have my name on them. The quality has to remain the same, I'll see to that. The prawntraps.ca website will have all the new contact info on it soon.
