bass on island

i heard that there was bass fishing on vancouver my wife and i are going june 2010 and bringing my canoe can anybody tell me a good spot to go please and thank you.

Both Elk Lake and Spider Lake are good bass producers. Around Nanimo there are a bunch more-- but might be smaller fish. St Marys Lake on Saltspring Island is worth a trip too.

Prospect Lake also produces a few or many smallies as well.

Upper Thetis Lake has plenty of big bass also because nobody fishes it. Park at the dog park and launch your boat from there then go north and under the bridge. It will blow your mind plenty of big bass!

Don't forget Langford Lake. Even though it is small it can produce some pretty big bass.
