Barkley Sockeye Commercial Opening - this weekend

Hi guys, just a heads up that the Barkley Sockeye run-size was upgraded today to 500k and there will be a commercial gillnet fishery starting on Friday night at 18:00 for 24 hours with a possible extension if the TAC is not reached. The area that will be open will be Bilton to Polly's Point and there probably won't be that many boats participating.

Seines (1-3) will probably be fishing this weekend too for the remainder of their TAC.

Just hoping to get more information out to people to minimize gear conflicts on the weekend so everyone can get along out there.
