Headed out with Albernifisher for a wet butt day on the west coast.
First order of business was to drop the crab traps and get more fuel, then we were going to head offshore for our first hali's of the season...
But the water at Cape Beale had different ideas for us.
So rather than tempt fate, we decided we'd get some more beer and go trolling for springs. We mananged three fish into the boat, with one 11 or so pounds that Gary caught. We also lost one.
Two of the fish came from Sarita, and the other from Rainy Bay.
The weather was HORRIBLE!!! Windy and POURING rain almost the whole day, so we didn't see a lot of other boats out there putting in any effort.
I'm glad we did though. I've almost even dried off now.
