Hey Clint

Fishing in Barkley Sound in late June or early July is awesome. My favorite time of the year.

And Poett Nook is a great place to stay.

We fished out of Bamfield the last week of June a couple years back. It was great fishing. We did our best out around Cree and Austin or Gibralter / Swale. The guys that went offshore were doing well too. We just decided to stay inside as it was breezy. Have fun, you won't regret going that time of year IMO.

I've taken a few trips in late June and always done well. Never many boats either. Great time to go in my opinion.

Plus you can run up for Sockeye if there's an opening and the DFO doesn't declare a free for all commercial opening like last Summer.

yup. meares to cree is great in june!!

Late June has always been good to us, we go to Bamfield every year at that time and always limit out on springs.

Had a pleasant surprise last year and hooked a 43 lb hali at Meares bluff on the downrigger as well.

You should do well, you just won't see the big ones you normally see in Aug. We'll be there the 3rd week in June

3rd week of June = 15-18 #s if your fishing the Wall out to Beale. Seems like they came out of a cookie cutter. Longer hours of sunshine & less fog, than later in the summer.

Ive had lots of sucess in june. Lots of fish around swale to cree, and Robbers Passage. The small coho will start to show up too. Bottom fishing for lings/rockfish seems to be better this time of year too.
