Anyone ever have much luck fishing for Halibut in any inshore spots around Cape Beale , Edward King or Ship Island area. I only have a 16' aluminum so any offshore spots are out of the question unless the weather is good, and we know how that can be. If you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes.

I saw a boat catch a halibut just of the whistle buoy (across from Beale)last week. I caught a couple fishing between Folgers and Edward King last year.
