My sons and myself are heading up the 17th-20th of August. If you could only pick 2 colours of flashers and teaser heads, which would you consider the most consistant producers? Thanks,Ray

For me,Green,Red,hotspots and the Rainbow, watermelon Rhys Davis heads.Bring along a army truck head, those, on certain days are really good.Dan

Flasher: Oki's Blue Green Mist w/ mirror back UV blade
Teaser: Any of the UV's in Blue, Purple or Green

Cheers,
Nog

Wow... I agree with both! I guess you need to buy a little more gear! Which I would recommend having what both mention! :):)

I guess the only thing I could possibly add, other than that, is watch the UV, unless you fish deep. On sunny days UV "probably" would not really help. And... I am a "diehard" "HotSpot" user, but I bet I can find a couple of OKI's in with my tackle![:I]

im gonna be strait up i go every year to bamfield and this year im going on the 21-23. we always get our limits and we have always used green flasher and crome teaser heads. however i really dont think it matter right place at the right time. if i were to choose a second option it would be green glow teaser heads. always green flashers that way you get the coho and springs.

Thanks guys, keep the list coming.I've got lots of gear already but don't want to waste any precious time experimenting.Arranging time for fishing with 2 grown boys is not easily done. Thanks again,Ray

Ray, been going there for years. start off in the morning (before sunrise) with a glow white crackle flasher and bloody nose head or purple haze flasher and head. switch to red later in the day and early evening. Try running the good old 602 on the middle line. Makes it easy to get out of the way when you hit a fish. Some years the plug has out produced bait. I'll talk to you at work before you go.
Bruce

Adding to the others:

Glow (green, gold/crome, any) hotspot with glow white/green any combo with speckles first thing in the morning before sunrise.

Fishin' anywhere anytime for anything
