Assist hooks - cord and rings source?

Planning to order some supplies to start tying assist hooks for salmon, ling and hali rigs. Found a super informative post from @TheBigGuy (https://sportfishingbc.com/threads/tested-testng-new-tackle.64624/post-819741), though it is from 2017 so checking to see if folks can suggest current components/suppliers. I'm fine with ordering from Ebay and waiting on shipping if required, though also glad to support Canadian companies if there is a reasonable supplier. Would rather do it right the first time around then trial different components.

1) I haven't found any kevlar or technora at the local suppliers, though have had someone suggest 200lb tuna cord (Ashaway brand with crimps, likely fine for hali) or the Attwood micro cord (125lb, 1.18mm diameter, likely ok for salmon). Have people used either of these successfully?

2) Current brand and source for solid rings? Based on TheBigGuys prior post i'll want 300-400lb rated rings.

Thanks!

I may have answered my own question as after posting thought I would check the hi tech jigging thread... https://www.pechesud.com/ out of Quebec appears to have all the components.

Anyway, still glad to hear other suggestions and advice!

I use ali express-comes from china-same stuff you get from ebay or amazon thru 3rd party suppliers. Just be sure you know exactly what you want. I have found some of their pre-tied assist hooks very good to excellent. Make sure of the sizing-they do not always go by 2/0 or 3/0 but rather throat size in mm or length in mm-I usually keep a mm tape by my computer as well as sized hooks to make sure.

I've seen recommendations for that site in other forums they have a good reputation.
I bought some gear from this site last summer. Their product is very good quality, pricing is reasonable and no issues with shipping.
