Anyone did anything fun for Canada Day 2022 ?

I took my bike over to Bowen for some ebiking. Did the lake loop. Had some swordfish at the french cafe downtown. Recommended.

I watched the Osoyoos Fireworks display go haywire and almost kill a bunch of boaters.

Don't know about fun but I got this 10×10 yellow cedar deck extension done,was going to build the new storage shed today,but rained out,still have the new gazebo to assemble as well and a new fire table,ohwell happy wife,broken husband lol. Soon I will be able to see my workbench and actually get back to assembling my gimble housing and actually having a boat again,thank goodness holidays start on thursday

Shipped the wife, kid, and dog up to the cabin so that I can work on our house in peace. Got lots done. It’s amazing how much you can get done without distractions.

Cut and painted 400 lineal feet of baseboards and door casing
Kerdi membrane installed in the ensuite
Mudded walls and primed
Removed doors everywhere because they are trash.
Enlarged opening for ensuite door
Recycling run
Dump run
Went to Home Depot four times
Drank lots of beer.
Saw Canada fireworks with friends
built a stand for my yami that goes on the inflatable

actually a great weekend because I enjoy the 12 hour days working on my own stuff
