anybody get out today ?

Today was slower than it has been off the waterfront and Constance
released 2 small springs , both on spoons.
about 140-160' deep.
After 3 hours, time to pack it in.
Hit the up button and about 20' into the retrieve,the clip pop's off.
Fish on ! it's a scrappy 10lb wild male.
The Creel person said it was slower at Sooke also, with only small
Springs around.
Anybody have any luck ?

I thought it was slow out sooke way. I fished by myself for 4 hrs and released 3 small fish and had a couple of strikes.
I did pick up 3 large dungeness at the end of the day though.
Weather started to turn bad around 1pm.
Hopefully better luck next time

Same for me, rain and wind picked up around 1:00pm
were you fishing becher bay ?
