Any experience with Général Components Heaters?

Does anyone have any experience with the General Components Diesal heaters Sherwood Marine sells? Apparently they put them in all the new boats sold. $1039 for the 2200 kit and they have them in stock.

I don't know anything about those but it's hard to beat the Chinese ones on amazon for 1/5th the price. Myself and lots of others have had great luck with em.

Different units, you can tell the 2kw and 5kw apart based on the intake and exhaust port locations (center vs offset towards the end) Probably from the same factory though. I couldn’t find where the GC one is made but it sure looks like a Chinese version.
