lol. ya they are a wholesale company so you need to be a boat dealer or builder to buy from them. I drop shipped my buddy some tempress seats before though.

I think in some of the earlier photos I didn't have it strapped down so it was hanging down. Not sure if this looks any better to you?
I mean if that's all that's stopping you from buying the boat then sure I'll add a cover over top. But the cabs kind of unfinished as it is so to me it seems fine. If I was keeping the boat for myself then I'd be more interested in putting some kind of floor material down over the aluminum or maybe some carpet / hull liner on the sides and roof then covering the wiring?

So I did some extra finishing on the boat but been pretty busy so haven't gotten to posting up new pictures. First step was to strip everything down and sand the aluminum so that the epoxy primer has a good grip. Next I painted the dash with 2k urethane paint from alexseal. I coated the top of the bow, gunnels and rear decks in kiwigrip. The kiwigrip is a pretty interesting product, it's amazing how fast the stuff starts to dry being a water based product. It's sort of a thick mayonnaise consistency and you spread it around with a notched trowel and then use a special textured roller. The roller really flings the stuff around good so you really need to mask everything off well that you don't want to get it on. On a side note I've used a product from a company called liquid rubber that's a polyurethane deck coating. I'm almost certain they are exactly the same except the polyurethane deck coating is waaay cheaper. The stuff is extremely durable.

Next step was to insulate the ceiling using 1.5" rigid insulation. I then taped all the seams with tuct tape so no air can enter the cracks and condense on the aluminum. I don't think someone would be to happy if they spent this much money on a coat only to have it drop water on there head . Next up was to cover that with some frp panels. I supposed the frp is a vapor barrier aswell so taping the seams on the foam may have been overkill but it's a nice backup incase some air leaks past the seam in the frp. I later trimmed the inside corners with a PVC half round moulding and caulked the seam aswell. After that we put "hull liner" on the sides from the gunnels down. Catalogue called it silver and it looked much greyer in the photos... For floor material we put down a product called compass HB. It's sort of a woven vinyl material with a foam layer underneath. It looks great and it's very durable, I scratched some scissors and nails to a sample as was really happy with how it held up. Much more durable then Eva foam.

After that it was time to put the windows back in and reassemble. I really love doing things twice lol. Speaking of doing things twice.. I had to rebuild the hatch frame for the hatch in the cab as I destroyed it trying to remove it. Damn sikaflex! Also had to make a new door for the area under the the bow (would you call it a Cuddy or not?) because of the added thickness from the hull liner. I also changed out the latches on the hatches since I wasn't that happy with the slam latches I had used before. I like these new cam latches alot more.
