Congratulations are in order for the members on this forum. For the first time in a while it looks like the trolls lurking here are finally heading for extinction. People have finally stopped feeding them, and they are no longer sidetracking useful threads.

High fives all around, for showing restraint to all involved on this forum.

The particular Troll that we've being having trouble for months with, has an easily recognizable pattern.
He starts off quite subtly making comments about fishing, most of which are very general indicating he really doesn't know much about the sport.
after 20 or 30 posts, he get's more agressive looking for a heated response to his irritating post.
If he feels challenged, he will make benign comments such as "funny eh ?" and "let's kiss and make up "
He also loves using the clown smilie.
Once identified, he's looking for a full on verbal battle which we as member's should not participate in.

Here's my suggestions

1)Read the posts & assess the content.
2)if it sounds like b.s. it likely is.
3)identify the author as a troll, if obvious.
4)no further response to his posts.

Just my 2 bits..

Hey RS, I agree totally with you and I appreciate what you have provided to this forum. As difficult as it is some times, don't let yourself get sucked in! Keep up the great informative posts. SS
