And I really hope people on this Forum step up and get a copy and those that are in a position to do so, will do their best to get a copy on the desk of some of the people responsible for having helped manage the THompson steelhead to ZERO

The only downside for me: when I told my daughter her picture got into the book she immediately demanded compensation and residuals on every book sold.....yuk yuk

Here’s one of the pictures in the book that you and I and everyone we know will never ever see duplicated again in our lifetimes on any river anywhere:




I don’t think there’s a fish anywhere in those pictures that was under 12 lbs: What an amazing genetic goldmine of fitness those fish were!

over 50 years ago now, they were probably saying the same thing in the 1970s about all the fish that were around in the 1920s

nothing changed in the pervious 100 years to stop the declines why do we expect anything different for the next 100 years

It was easier to catch a fish over 20lbs than it was to find one under 12lbs.
