Yup heard about that one today (not the song but it is a great one) We are getting to a point were a lot of influential musicians will buck the kicket RIP
 
Saw them @ the old PNE Gardens a lousy venue but the wood helped with sound-Alvin was good but the drummer was better.
 
Yeah woodstock---him playing I'm Coming Home gotta be one of the best live guitar performances ever IMHO---if they had better video footage it would be great---- still pull it up on youtube now and then to watch ---think I'll do it right now

My vote goes to Cricklewood Green.

Getting older seems to partly be about seeing other people die. Better than the alternative, I know, but you could end up getting real lonely.
 
I went to London in 1969 and travelled with a band called May Blitz. The first gig I went to May Blitz opened for Ten Years After in Newcastle. What an experience, both Alvin's guitar work and the Newcastle Brown Ale....... Rest in Peace Alvin
