7 states have already vaccinated 10% of there adult population.
After being in the business of upgrading manufacturing plants for many years i can add a little perspective to that.
They wouldn't start ramping up untill they knew that they had a winner so not a year. Then they need to have space, procure the right equipment, get the right people and get all of there proper permits, ect, ect. my question is why promise product two months ago when by then they would have know by then that they where going to have to upgrade . These projects are in the planing phase long before they start.
It’s a double whammy, because if second doses aren’t given in time, the first ones were useless and we are back to square f*ckin’ one!Pfizer is really screwing up any type of roll-out. How do you plan second doses if you give first doses and the planned second ones don't arrive. WTH.
Not true but if you have a reputable source that says otherwise I'm willing to change my mind. It’s a double whammy, because if second doses aren’t given in time, the first ones were useless and we are back to square f*ckin’ one!
If it's affecting everyone roughly equally, that'll be easy to tell: we'll all remain in roughly the same order in terms of per capita vaccination.Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca have all announced manufacturing delays and significant short shipments to every country that has ordered from them. No surprise given the intensity of the push to get the vaccines developed and into production.
But it's the politician's fault.
That’s good news then. I read that the second dose needs to be administered within 42 days or the vaccine becomes substantially less effective. Not true but if you have a reputable source that says otherwise I'm willing to change my mind.
Here is some info from the CDC on that. That’s good news then. I read that the second dose needs to be administered within 42 days or the vaccine becomes substantially less effective.

If the order starts to change rapidly, that'll be a good indicator of what countries were prepared, and which system is working. I mean what other criteria could you use?
"We're playing great hockey out there and the only reason we're always losing is that a coach from several decades ago decided we didn't need our own goalie. But that's not an indicator that we're doing anything badly, it's just a tough league these days."
If we finish the season ahead of most of the other countries, we're good at playing NHL-level pandemic response.
If we don't, we're not. Any other take is pointless.
Would this be a power play goal against team Fear & Anger?
