Derby update leaders 44lbs, 41 lbs ,38 lbs ,all quite clean slabs ,fishing slower today we landed 3 on chovies and lost one ~~~all 20 lbs and down all within the first 1.5 hrs in the am~~~ then wind came up "UGLY" ~~~Maybe night biter is waitin SEE you out there and good luck

eagles eyes, I've been trying to straighten out my bent ones because of the action I've had on them.
It's kind of a trade off, light spoon for the action but they get bent out of shape after the third or fourth fish.
I'm looking forward to monday as the weather is supposed to be nice and sunny and hope the wind stays away...

we had about a 15 pound chinook hit a coyote in port and bend it in half<img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>
Lost it at the boat i dont know if it was because it bent but i wasnt happy.

interesting you straigten them, but the last 2 years the bent ones i have greatly outfished my normal coyoties. could just be me, but i've had several others tell me the same.

Day 2 update @ Noon leaders today 39 ~~ 32~~~ 30 ~~~ .
Fishin DEAD <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle> in the upper saw maybe 10 fish caught "Only good bite was Coulson area early " ~~~When we weigh our " 1 " fish it was the 41 st fish weighed in by 11:00 am <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle> OUCH!! ~~~Yesterday day saw few top guides "SKUNKED" so if you had one on GOOD ON YOU!!!~~~Come on out tonight and hang on!!!!! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
