Hey Guys. new to the area would appreciate any advise will be putting the boat in the water at saratoga beach, wife likes cod or hali I like the thrill of the salmon fight, a little confused how many HUMPS are there out there. Thanks

Couple of choices from your launch.
Cape Mudge 1/2 run
Sentry Shoals 20 minutes
Kitty Coleman 35 minutes
200 foot ledge in front of Salmon Point Resort
Backside of Mittlenatch Island
Just be sure to check the regs. on the RCA's for the area.
And watch the tide tables for when you leave and enter the marina.

I'm keeping my boat at Pacific PLayground for the summer and appreciate the travel times info blueorca,as I've never fished the area.I drove past CR today heading south ,there was about 20 boats fishing Cape Mudge,probably quite a few from April Point and Painters,would that be the best place to try?
I think Sentry Shoals is closed,isn't it?
I'll check the regs.
