Adopting permanent daylight saving time

It's going to be interesting in winter for construction sites. I know my guys don't like it when they have to start at 7:30 instead of 7:00 because it's too dark outside in the winter. Now, they are going to be starting at 8:30. I guess I should start ordering a bunch more task lighting.

I had a coworker getting going in the dark one morning and I said "a little dark isn't it?" And he said "it's only going to get lighter...." He is right and you're never going to go out and get stuck in the daylight. I'd rather the light at the end of the day.

I’d rather go to work/school/office In the dark and have an extra hour of light in the evening. I mean, you're inside anyways so might as well be when it’s still dark outside.
Exactly what the emtertainment/restaurant/shopping community want to hear. This was their initiative, studies clearly show people spend more when it's light out. Same push behind the successful campaign to extend daylight saving out beyond Halloween.

growing up and going to school without time change was not a problem, this is a win for everyone and my dog, imho
No time change is fine. We should have stayed on standard time. Now our clocks are skewed away from the basic one hour per 15 degrees longitude that is the basis of the entire global time zone concept.

How long before parents concerned about safety are agitating for schools to change their class times because mornings are so dark in winter?

My kids do after school activites that are all in the dark in the winter,

I mean its one or the other, and it kind of just the reality of living this far north from the equator.

Going fishing at first light used to keep some of the casual fishermen away as they slept in, but now with first light being later, it will be a zoo out there in the morning! (kidding, but it might happen)
