Anyone have any recommendations of where to stay in the Ucluelet area? A cabin or hotel would work.

The Thornton,The Whales Tail or the West Coast Motel. They're all pretty reasonably priced and I usually choose them over the hoidy toidy Black Rock when I go out there to work.

hopefully when ur there u can experience 'matterson house' for breakfast, can anyone confirm that its still awesome for breakfast, it sure was the last time i was there and times previous, but it has been a while since ive had the chance to wonder over that way sadly...holmes*

Best breakfasts in Ukee however we find that breakfast opening can be spotty until the peak season. We haven't found them open for breakfast for quite some time now.
