Hmmmm I’ve never had a fuse go. Is that just on the max torque version? I have the regular version. Or maybe I just suck at prawning and don’t bring up heavy pots hahaMake sure you swap out your 30 amp fuses on your Scotty's to 40 amp fuses for the puller. I learned the hard way......
I've been looking all day and I just cant find the fuse ... is it inside near the clutch , man these Islanders are hi-techMake sure you swap out your 30 amp fuses on your Scotty's to 40 amp fuses for the puller. I learned the hard way......
Switch to 30amp for the riggers outlet and you’ll be fine.I have a separate power point for my puller. But now I just realised why I have to keep changing my 20 amp fuses that run back to the scotty's.
It's part of the original wiring so I'm assuming I'll have to confirm my wire sizing first or perhaps just run new wires.Switch to 30amp for the riggers outlet and you’ll be fine.
When I did mine, I just replaced the wire from the fuse to the scotty outlet with bigger gauge. Just measure the length and buy some from a credible marine store. Took me 20 mins to replace mine and never have had any issues after that. It's part of the original wiring so I'm assuming I'll have to confirm my wire sizing first or perhaps just run new wires.
We should all realize in Boating , nothing is just plug and play , hope you post all those prawns you pull up with that unit ...It's part of the original wiring so I'm assuming I'll have to confirm my wire sizing first or perhaps just run new wires.
