This writer has followed the Elwha quite a bit over the years, so expectedly she compares the two, but are they remotely comparable if salmon can’t make it over the falls in front of the dam and the tribe won’t build a ladder for Chinook to take advantage of the access?
I hope this project goes, but it would be cool if they built a bit of a ladder for salmon, no??
