I jacked my boat up off the trailer and to do some patching anf reinforcing on the keel. That went okay, then I broke off my transducer with an oak timber as I was cleaning up. I got it to stick with some five minute epoxy, then chopped some glass fibers into some more epoxy to build a collar around the break. It's holding, but I probably need to get another one. I have an adapter from the older black end to the newer blue one. Harbour Chandler closes at 5:00 it looks like.
Anyone upgrade and have one lying around Nanaimo/Parksville/Alberni? Willing to pay or trade from my truckload of hoochies, spoons, flashers, and jigs.
I'm getting off the Duke Point ferry at 7:45 pm tomorrow (Tuesday).
Any suggestions for another shop on the mainland side. Steveston Hardware in Langley? May have to go right passed it if Hwy 17 is still closed.
Thanks, I'll be in Ukee Wed-Fri, and Alberni Sat/Sun. Leaving the boat in Ukee for a while if all goes to plan.
