The largest confirmed spring ocean caught in BC was out of Hakai years ago and from what I recall it came in at 85.5lbs. Then there was the 82lb out of Naden and I have hear of a few 80's now out of Rivers. In the freshwater, there have been a bunch in the 80's and 90's inculding one on the Skeena which taped out to be 99.25lbs!
I've seen numerous times in the Charlottes where fish have been played for crazy amounts of time never to be boated. The ost memriable time was a boat that hooked one off of the point and was still playing the fish 5 hours later 3 miles from where he hooked it. He have full pull on it, fought like a spring up, down, out... but it finally broke before we all got a look at it. You never know whats down there I guess.
