50lbser Today!

[SerengetiGuide]

Nailed a 50lbser today...first of the year...and its only June. Good sign...never caught one that big this early. Lots in the high 20's and low 30's too. Lost about a million today too...[xx(]...its their first time salmon fishing...so fair enough haha.
Great times though...wow it took a lot of line...almost spooled the reel. A couple battle wounds were left on his hand too..."keep your hand away from the reel when he's screaming" didn't quite set in hahaha.

Overall not unreal though...other boats out there caught 1 or 2...with one other (Silvers North Charters if I'm not mistaken) catching 5 Springs as well.

Looks like a whitey. Harrison, Squamish? Caught one just like that bar fishing Fraser Sept 16 last year.

Wow, I'm impressed David. From the looks of this, and other recent pics, youve been slaying them. Gotta admit when you first started posting last year I was a little skeptical about the catches you were reporting. Over time though, it became pretty apparent you've no need for exageration. Keep up the good work, your clients are definately getting their moneys worth when they go out with you. I wish you coninued success, and hope I'm as lucky when I head up that way this summer.

Serengeti you guys Rock, I can hardly wait to get back up there, If anyone needs a charter I can give a strong recomendation for these guys. We see them doing well whenever we fish around them. Really nice fish.
