not sure about that marina but I know on the mainland most slips aren't transferable if there is a waiting list, you will probably get to the end of their year but after that there's a good chance you are sol and looking for a new slip.

Fully transferable with purchase of boat registered with slip.Been that way for years now in Comox. Seen a slip listed once with a dingy registered. Most expensive dingy ever sold......
