2026 OFFISHALL Vancouver- Howe Sound- Sechelt Report Thread

Pretty thick pea soup out there yesterday, worked the Bell for an hour early (no love) then decided to cross. Just enough visibility and trust in the radar to cross over. Definitely gotta keep a close eye for debris, but doable.

Good consistent action but no keepers, a couple fat looking 60cm-ish in the mix, didn’t bother to boat them for measurement. Full load of prawns for 2 guys and had to dump an entire trap full back in. No eggers.
that was a good day bro thanks for taking me

4 unders (50cm ish) today working the mile markers and bell. 70-80 ft got them all. None from the bottom. I had one rod at 70 to 80 and one following the bottom.
We were marking a lot of fish when we were deeper in the harbour last Sunday as we were navigating our way out of socked in fog-there was definitely a lot more fish showing deep inside the harbor, then out by the markers where we were concentrating our efforts

February and March were always good out in 180-240 ish depths out by the freighters at the entrance of the harbour. The Fraser outflow tideline cuts right through that area. It takes some doing to get the gear down in the mud, but we also found fish more suspended as it got later. All of that being said, some guys were fishing 50-60 feet inside of the bell last in year and doing well.

rain city you been out for any fish

Started at Hutt —> waterfall/third marker today, bite came for us on pretty much between the tides, quite a few 20-22” fish, one keeper. Most action at 190’ tight to the marker. Finished with a couple passes at Gambier Hbr, only unders there.
nice good to hear still lots of sealions there at the falls?

Sorry about that last one fishing hole in the wall to Lyons Bay the last couple hours marking lots, but zero bites very quiet any other live reports out there?
