Nice. It's such a beautiful special place. So jealous!!!!!!!
Can't wait to get back.
Just over two months and we'll be back in the water..
There's no way. Super busy spot.Hello Everyone!
I was wondering if I could get some advice about the Cougar Creek Campground. Our group of three are trying to plan our yearly fishing trip on the island and we’re hoping to get some info how busy the campsite gets on the August long weekend. We were planning on making to the site around Friday at noon on July 31 to stay till August 3. I understand it is first come first serve but we’re hoping to get some info if trying to find a place on July 31st would be a bad idea! Last year we did the same dates at Moutcha bay however they are fully booked for that weekend.
Thanks in advance!
If they are still open try booking Tuta Marina in advance. Camping showers docksHello Everyone!

Thanks everyone for the reply, we are considering the two options instead, option 1 is Bamfield for the July 31 dates at Secret Beach Campground, Poets Nook or Centennial. Second is Moutcha bay but the August 13th weekend. Let me know if anyone else has other recommendations!Better of trying in Barkley sound just opened for booking this morning
I tried to email them the other day but my email bounced back! So they might have closed.Does anyone know if Tuta is still open?
Spent a lot of time there when Larry and Shirley ran it. Great people.
I had heard one of their kids were running it but I don't know how to contact them.I tried to email them the other day but my email bounced back! So they might have closed.
If your going to do Bamfield then don’t leave Ucluelet out if the picture either. Remember it’s all the same fish that come swimming by so you’re not missing anything as far as that goes. Ukee has 3 options for camping I believe plus there are a couple up around Tofino as well. Thanks everyone for the reply, we are considering the two options instead, option 1 is Bamfield for the July 31 dates at Secret Beach Campground, Poets Nook or Centennial. Larry is a good friend of mine. Tuta will be open this year and his daughter, Christina, is in charge of booking. I just talked to Larry and he will send me her email address this evening and I will share it with you allI had heard one of their kids were running it but I don't know how to contact them.
