Similar for our crew Friday at inside Tumbo, action, but all short ones.
Are you fishing in the channel or on the straight side of Tumbo
Was at Polier in the Fog on Sunday. Caught and released 5 undersized winter springs pretty quickly. They seemed to be biting on 4" spoons and hootchies, and gear was near the bottom. The orca show was unreal, with swarming the sea lions jumping all around them. Never seen that before. Overall, good outing with family, but still trying to get a legal fish. Any tips?
Been fishing the channel. Got that guy on the saturna side 140 on the bottom.

Started my morning at tent island. 2 shakers in an hour so decided to pull the gear and head to Porlier. A couple undersized fish in the first hour and just as I pulled one rod to call it a day a chunky 70cm hits the other rod. Put the lines back down and 20 mins later a nice 68cm hits the deck. Both fish came just south of the pass in 140ft of water. Spoons got both of them

Went for an overnighter, grinded it out pretty good Tuesday, Porlier wasn’t producing so hit Thrasher and got a skinny hatch 64cm. Pretty slow overall. Wed tried Thrasher at first light, nothing doing so bombed up to Entrance for a couple trench tacks but no love. Tried the grande for an hour before crossing back home. A few unders here and there but never solid action. Tried herring, white hooch, and a couple different spoons. A solid 11 hours put in trolling over the 2 days for one fish lol
Either I just missed em or maybe they’ve headed a bit north following the supposedly early herring spawn?…

Lol. Funny thing is, it was actually a little embarrassing to post the pic Looked undersized it was so skinny. I measured it 3x, and again the next day to be sure
