weird about my srkw question regarding bottom fishing allowed though.anyone?bueller?

No fishing for salmon, bottom fish is ok

Haven't fished renfrew before but gonna take a stab at it this weekend. Are people having luck with hatchery coho right now? If so any water depth and fishing depth recommendations? The regs are pretty confusing for this area. I see the swiftshore closure but it looks like from the shore to roughly 2 miles out of areas 20-1 and 20-3 is open?

If I wanted to try for a spring in the slot limit it looks like there's a bit of an area in 20-1 and 20-2 near san juan port light (is this what people call east point?) or roughly a mile west of owens point heading west towards camper bay.

anywhere in deeper water within the boundary will be coho, andddddd pinks lol, from 100ft to 400ft, the beach is open for one spring 80cm, look at the DFO map for the closure in the bay, too lazy to type it all in,I just reread your post, look at the DFO map, the beach is wide open for springs,, I am here now, msg me when your here I can probably be more help that way lol, look for the hundreds of boats fishing and join the party

Fishing on the beach has been good since it opened up. Lots of slot sized fish around with a few big fish mixed in. Halibut fishing is steady with a lot of small ones so far. Just had a weekend with friends and they took home their limit of Springs and small halibut. Doing a bit of boat maintenance today. I have a tilt motor on one of my 150’s on its way out I think . The crabbing is slow and requires some work to get them. The boy also says the night bite for Bass off the dock is good….lol
