I may be totally wrong on this, but after watching the Sproat River live stream the last few years and comparing to this year, it seems that the number is really low so far this year. Hopefully they are schooling in the canal.

Alot of them go up the stamp. As of today the count is 4,629 for the Stamp and 1,806 for the Sproat. If you watch the Stamp cam you will see quite a few, In the past few days watching the Sproat cam I have seen nothing.

I think the last few years we had rains in early June and the fish just went straight up the river , this year due to the hot weather, they are starting to school up in the inlet…..
I fished last Monday and Tuesday from china creek, 3 for 7 on Monday, 0 for 6 on Tuesday….. I don’t go out as early as some, and only fish until about 10. I am going back up to china creek Monday .

I know of 5 boats that fished around China Creek this morning, only 2 sockeye caught.
