Here are the two DFO, 2024, Creel Survey Update reports:
It appears most areas caught more Chinook and Coho than the five year average.
These reports might give you a better understanding of the fish catch ratio as seen by DFO.
Yes, there are issues with it and if anyone has a better way of collecting fish catch and release data number please put it in writing and forward it to DFO. I have heard a rumor, they might want to go to a phone licensing system where you record your catch on your phone and it is then sent to DFO?? So people with out Cell phones cannot fish???
I only could get one of the reports to download and so I took photos of the other reports main pages.
