2021 Port Alberni and Alberni Inlet Reports

Fished hard from the harbour to Dunsmuir. Used all the tactics I know, even made some up. It go to the point where I even tried a Deep Six, then a dodger and slip weight. Not a hit. The only thing we could have done was fish right until the end each day, but you can only bang your head on the wall so many times.
Had fun with my partners though ;-)

Sorry to hear that and it makes me feel better knowing I am not the only one experiencing some type of frustration with an empty fish bag. All the thinking will keep your mind fresh for years to come. Keep it up.

I also fished the derby. We started Saturday am at bells bay without luck and then moved out to Beale. We picked up one 10lber there and lost another at the boat . Slept in Bamfield and then hit whittlestone first thing. No luck all morning so we slowly made our way from sanford to pill and picked up a 12lber or so at pill point in the afternoon. It’s usually slow fishing for sure but still a nice weekend.
