Well been a great 4 days of hunting didnt find mr big but got a huge mature whitetail and mule deer last day.. seen sooooo many deer ,had first names for them. Never saw the buck i shot . After 3 days of patterning these deer decided last day to come from the north down into different set up spot.
As soon as i set up saw this boy about 400 yds out. Got ready and all of of sudden it turned and started walking my way. Noticed on my west side of me some does walking past so he got to about 250 yds figured nows the time 1 shot perfectly in the lungs we fell over 50 feet. Huge bodied deer think he was on his down swing.after butchering it did some measurements and he was indeed a older deer bigger in size then the mule deer putting the neck and rib cages beside . Noticeably a big deer. So happy about this hunt....
