We did it! It's not much to most of you, I know, but we finally got a couple of nice big keeper Lings yesterday. I think tinboatrobb must have blessed us. We also got a fierce-fighting cabazon and a couple others (rockfish, kelp greenlings). Great day out with my son!

Nice work. How big were the lings? Our biggest this year is 13 lbs. Perfect eating fish.

We got one 16 lbs (35" long) and one 18 lbs (36" long). I still smell like Butt Juice, though!

Oh, we're on it. The boy got up yesterday asking if we could go out fishing again. And he's got us planned for both days next weekend, plus after school outings all week long. For better or ill, we'll likely only get one more day in before switching to winter springs. Speaking of which, do we get those in OB, or is that a west side thing?

There are coho out in the tide lines! Tried for 2 hours yesterday afternoon and had 5 on including a double header. Kept a nice hatch released a couple wild and lost a couple. 3” lemon lime anchovy and herring spoons were producing.
