2015 Seattle Boat Show

Hola! It took Brian to get to the bottom of my log in problem and get me back on here.

Hope all is well down South. Goatram looks really good. The infection in the hip is gone and he's really mobile again (hard to keep up to him still lol). He bought some new props and other goodies for the Miss Eliza and a wack of halibut tackle from the Outdoor Emporium booth at the show. Didn't see Ken. Apparently he didn't enter the show this year :(.

Great pics John thanks for sharing.

Not a huge fan of the vertical badging on the Etecs but other than that those motors look unreal cool (in my ETEC biased eye). Time has already told though, the Etecs are the one to beat now ;)

Yes, those ETEC G2s are real eye openers. But the Evinrude site doesn't actually reveal much in the way of details as to what's new. Sure they say it's a total redesign, and starting with a "clean slate" enabled them to do amazing things, but WHAT exactly. And then it's the same old "20% more torque, 30% better fuel efficiency that Yamaha or Mercury, blah blah..." , and then the tug of war and drag race to "prove" it. Disappointing. Maybe they have done something radical with the G2, but I can't tell. Sure looks cool though.

I'm sorry but those new Etec's just don't do it for me (looks anyway) for some reason they remind me of the old Chrysler's... Butt ugly IMHO.

Great pics. Thanks for that. I am also not a big fan of the way the new etecs look either.

Nice pics, thanx for sharing. What a man could own if only he had the funds to purchase some of those kick butt boats. For now, I will keep on dreaming!

BUTT ugly is the word for the Evies-- but that might have something to do with the fact that I cant afford a new engine! Sculpin-- anyone pushing the Merc 150 4 strokes?

I'll be back at the show early this Sat. AM and will be stalking the fishing tackle booths for the great buys that inevitably appear on the last day of the show. If any SFBC guys will be there and want to catch a beer and lunch at the brewery across the street, send me a PM. Also, if anyone wants any pictures of a particular boat that Sculpin didn't photograph, let me know.

If you could get some interior shots of that 27' Northriver it would be appreciated :).

Will do. I'll also take a few pictures of some glass boats. Some of us enjoy the warmth of them while sleeping aboard. ;)
