I got that from "The other site" and I'm not sure how accurate it is but it shows an estimated 20+ Million pinks coming through as well as a WVCI hatchery chinooks in great shape, most being 4-5 year old fish.

When do the pinks start showing up? Is it generally different timing for Sooke and Sidney?

Pinks enter the Sooke area by early July and by the end of July they are hot and heavy running and through till the end of August.

The last few odd year runs, the pinks seemed to stay away from the Sunshine Coast (or me).... not sure which it was!
