SPOKANE, Wash. – He has tackled the frigid waters of Alaska as a crab fisherman for years, now one of the stars of the reality show "Deadliest Catch" is charting new waters: meeting fans in Spokane.
Capt. Keith is traveling the Spokane area to promote the show and his favorite beer. He spent about two hours at the Yoke's grocery store in Mead on Thursday and is planning several more appearances throughout the area.
The Captain spends months on the water fishing for crab, salmon, halibut and cod and stays busy the rest of the year traveling and maintaining his vessel.
"Monday after I do this I'll be in Seattle moving my boat into dry dock," he said. "Just all the hurdles we go to get the boat into the fishery are immense."
If you are interested in meeting Capt. Keith, he will be at several area grocery stores on Friday:
-Albertson's at 8915 East Trent Avenue from 9-11am
-Yoke's at 9329 East Montgomery Avenue from Noon-2p
-Walmart at 15727 East Broadway Avenue from 3-5p
