Porta Boat Fishing in Becher Bay, can it handle the waves!?

Fishing Sooke Basin & Harbour - Anderson Cove
Hello, I'm living in East Sooke for the summer and I brought my 17' Willie drift boat and 8hp motor with me. Brought some salmon gear with, and I've got a couple of crab traps. 2016 Sooke Reports
Well as the 2016 reports have all disappeared, I will follow the lead of others and begin a new thread. Took my brother-in-law from the U.K. out today. Fished 7:30am until 12:30pm from Harbour mouth, Bluffs all the way down to Otter point and back. Mostly trolling with the tide each way...- Englishman
