Yamaha YDS / YDIS help.

Hi I need to pair a yamaha 2015 F200 to new DEC controls and the dealer will charge me at least an hour to connect their tool and reset it. Does anyone have the YDS / YDIS link that can help me for a case of beer? Victoria area.

I tried this in the summer but couldn’t find anyone but the dealer. It was quick and relatively painless

I'm not sure if the old software that works the cables you get off ebay lets you do this. I didn't see any mention in the manual. You may need the newer dealership hardware/software

Nice link! I've heard rumors / posts the old 1.33 software worked on a 2012 but apparently after 2012 you need the dealership? I'm tempted to try but also don't feel like wasting another $100.

Also I think the DEC reset on pg. 107 will "pair" the controls and make it work. On second thought its probably worth "wasting" another hundo on it. I will report back here if 1.33 works on a 2015 DEC.

I was told that the newer controls and DEC are dealer only pairing and that was from my nephew who is the Service Manager/foreman at Port BH

I bought the YDS 1.33 link. I will report back. I'm guessing 25% chance it works.

Reporting back: I reset my 2015 F200 DEC with 6x6 binnacle with YDS 1.33 no problem. Took about two minutes. If anyone South Vancouver Island needs YDS happy to help for a case of beer.
