I shipped it to seawings or point robets when I bought it a few years ago so prices might have gone up

the yamaha tilt system for the T8 (and T9.9 for that matter) are complete crap when it comes to waterproofness. do yourself a favor and even if its brand new, take the stator housing off of it, and seal everything with silicone. water gets in otherwise and fries the whole thing. i've had a brand new one go bad on me in less than 2 years because it leaked (like the original one did). There are two kinds of yamaha tilt systems for their kickers, ones that leak, and ones that will leak soon! They are very expensive to replace. fortunately the second time around i saved it on time and only needed new brushes and bearings (bearings i bought from a bearing store as yamaha does not piece that stuff out). The brushes are apparently made of unicorn tears and the price reflected this.
