Posting for a friend. He's looking for a trailer for a 25' Aluminum he just bought. Boat loaded he estimates at 6000 pounds. Central Vancouver Island.

Norm had a nice looking 7000lb carrying capacity Load Rite for 8k. A slightly rusted used one with 8600lb capacity went for $6800 so we bought new and hope to have a few years of headache free use. He can throw it on Seaspan which I believe does delivery to Nanaimo. https://marineone.ca/

Also check with Pearson Marine in Sooke. Yes they both sell used boats that come with problems, (all use boats come with problems) but their trailers are almost new, used to tow boats from the US to Canada, so no need to heckle!

I will pass this along to my friend. They are doing modifications on the boat prior to him taking it and he has one of my trailers for temporary use. I reminded him .....temporary:)

Did he get that project boat that just came up on gabriola?

No it’s one from Rebel boats in Errington. It’s bigger than the Gabriola one. Funny enough I did see that one heading towards Parksville last week though on the highway in Nanoose. Not sure where it ended up.
