Wtb JRC Radar 1000 mk2 head unit

Long shot but Looking for a head unit for my older JRC 1000 radar. The backlight is no longer working, which isn’t ideal for low light conditions. It works perfectly otherwise, so I'm hoping someone has one kicking around would also be interested in a complete unit as well new radar isn’t in the budget at the moment located south van island but travel to the mainland occasionally.

I have a Jrc 1500 head unit that works but radar dome crapped bed about 3 weeks ago maybe it would work???

Stryker marine in port hardy would be able to help you. They were/are a JRC dealer and repair depot

Aces is right. But if you're willing to replace it then what do you have to loose by opening it up and looking at replacing the back light? They can't have made it that terribly hard to do.

Plus they may have used head units for sale

drill a hole in the back and stick a dollar store flashlight in it ? use duct tape liberally.
