I assume it was the knurrled drum you were after
same thing happened to me.
That wiper motor from AM Equipment has the knurled drum pressed/swaged/steaked on, which is why its not replaceable.
Luckily I found a 1/2" knurled drum from another manufacturer in a loose parts bin at the marine store and made it fit.

I replaced both mine a few years back. I estimated the hours they had run and it wasn't much (maybe 100 total hrs) before they crapped out.
One of the knurled drums also wore out so I wrapped it with cloth and epoxy then pressed the wiper arm back on to it. Not ideal but it's still working just fine a few years later.

The guy at trotac said the AM Equipment is the "good, high end, quality" brand
I dont like the non-replaceble knurled drums, those always wear out.
And AM Equipment replacemnt parts are $$$$$
Id like to add a second wiper to the passenger side, but it'd cost me around $500 or more
