WTB: Halibut Rod/Reel

Hi all, looking to buy a gently used halibut rod and reel setup. Don’t need top of the line but also prefer something of a quality that will last me. Please feel free to post on thread or PM me, whatever is best for you.

I know its a bit of a weird time out there with everything going on and I don’t want to put anyone in spot they don’t wanna be so it would be great if you had pictures to send. If you PM me, i can provide my cell if its easier to send that way. If its needs to wait for things to return to normal i am fine with that too.

Side note, I do have a ton of brand new twitching jigs, flies or can tie up custom patterns to trade. Of course, I can use cold hard cash too! Just thought it was worth a mention.

ive got abunch of daiwa 600h with carbon fiber drags, mounted to penn 5'6" stand up rods (heavy)

i could sell one if that interests you would have to think about price...

Penn Squall combos are cheap starters that work. The 40 is a little clunky so go 30 unless you need to go real deep.
