Hi, does any one use this site. I see that the site only upgrades every 6 hours. Is there any way to get updates that are more recent. Regard's

I use it , gives you a good idea on wind speed and direction

As soon as it came up stop following BWD. Very accurate.

I like the site,but when I compare to say Haibut banks and go to past 24 hrs, which sometimes will be 1 hour old there seems to be quite a difference. Haven't actually been on the water to experience.

Been using it for few seasons now and it is accurate for the most part. Their forecasts are generally reliable. The app is easy to load and follow, with simple graphics.

I agree, I like the site. Was just wondering if there was closer to real time reports. When you click on info it says upgraded every 6 hours, where as gov't site will give hourly updates(don't know how accurate)

The forecasts on BWD aren't updated every hour. Not even close. Don't think Environment Canada is either....

Great site used it all last summer/fall, was pretty much spot on

I like and use all the time, not solely as I usually compare to BWD before a trip. Like the easy to see red lines and it is normally correct

I have a buddy heading home from a round the world sailboat trip. He and his son left Bikini atoll a little over a week ago heading back to Victoria. I use the site in combination with a tracking site to see what weather they are experiencing.
