Why do you suppose some cabin boats have the winshield forward but some backward? Aerodynamic reason ?

Forward leaning cabins inherently have more head room, also glare is a factor in operater stress and F/W leaning cabins have noticeably less sea glare. I have, however, seen windows punched out in a F/W leaning cabin that might not have been taken out in a rear sloper in same sea state.

Agree'd.

While they do open up a cabin, there is a safety concern IMO.
