The last time I was out off the lighthouse end of Winchelsea Island, I noticed the Navy yellow buoy is partially submerged underwater to a depth where you can't see it until you are right on top of it.
It is just inches below the surface.
A few months back Kelly A. responded to a thread about it and he called them. They put a red scotchman there, tethered to the yellow buoy.
The red scotchman is gone....but the yellow buoy is still there and the danger still exists because it is right in the boating traffic lane.
To my knowledge it is still like that........so be very careful.....if you hit it, you'll probably do some damage to your hull.
If they fixed it, disregard this message......but I don't think they did yet.....
