Just wondering if anyone has any ideas/ or where they mounted Scotty downriggers on a 2101 Striper.

Thanks in advance

They mount nicely half way down the side , center of combing pads

Back corners is the best spot. Make sure you put a full backing plate under it as well. Where striper jack has them mounted is good as well, but it will require alot of re-inforcement. Not to mention that the further back on the boat the less likely you will run the DR line into a propellor on a tight turn.

I've always liked them at the back corners as well, I just hate seeing that line rub against the hull on a tight turn like happens when they are further up.
